I have researched my question but haven't quite found an answer yet so I'm turning to all of the smart zoners for help.

I am wanting to delete some ringtones I have bought and some Ihave made and uploaded to my phone. However, I am looking for a way to do it with out using iTunes. I am aware of how to do it through iTunes but I want to do it on my phone to make things easier.

If anyone can give me a little instruction I'd greatly appreciate it. I have tried swiping up in the ringtone list hoping a delete button would appear but it doesn't seem as if I am that lucky.
Thanks in advance for any help you may offer.
Brittany!

I could be wrong on this, because there are lots of people here who know more than I do about the iPhone. But I don't think that's possible. Or at least, it wasn't when I researched it and tried it 6 months ago.

I've never done it. But look for a edit button at the top right of the screen. Especially once you open custom ring tones, if they have it.
Besides that, see if you have an Actions rotor - usually by default - on the ring tone you want to delete. Swipe down and see if you can find Delete, Remove or trash or something.

Nope. iTunes is the way, the truth, and the light so help you devil!
Why, I don't know, but any music has to be removed this way.
With7.1, and the latest iTunes, it should be simple.

Its probly because apple wants you to use ITunes for media management no matter if its ring tones or other music related content.

On one hand, I'd say that was smart. Control the software that has so much to do with the workings of the device, you have less service calls, due to people installing crap.
It is limiting, but safe.
